stormy weather
It’s interesting how inevitable stormy days are and how at these times we simultaneously sink into the grays of our minds not thinking that soon enough they’ll pass. We just experience. I theorize that there is a different type of lesson that sets in remembering. It’s unique to us all. For me, it could be a notification of whatever is next. For you…Well, you tell me.
I watched a documentary about fungi and mushrooms recently. There was a point in the film where it spoke about the early humans millions of years ago. They came across a type of fungi that grew from the crappings of a pre-historic creature that they ate and experienced a psychedelic trip from. It explained that it could be one of the many factors that led to humanity’s evolution into what it is today. This made me think of how many times humanity repeated itself; how many times we mimicked an action and didn’t realize it because it was a generation earlier. Maybe, it was a few generations earlier. Think about this: Do you think your grandparents passed down all of the information to you that their parents told them? Imagine what you don’t know that people in your bloodline before you knew. Think about what that could be.
I think a lot of our greatest mysteries hide in the depths of our own brains. Who and what we are, were, and can become. If you can make that realization of yourself when stormy weather comes, what you’ll learn has scale bigger than all of us.
I write this to you during my last few days in California. I’ve definitely experienced some stormy days here. I’m glad that I lived through this state, long enough to learn and proceed. The recent weather is a sort of reminder of how it’s been for a guy like me.
More for you soon,
