farewell sf
Probably one of the longest 365 days (and then some) of my life. The endless, daytime sounds of cars raging pass my window. The eerie, nighttime conversations from the impeccable range of humanity. The rush of the winds. The challenges of steep hills. The bay! The views from its many parks and the beauties of its many people. The ride of San Francisco is such a relentless one, that as happy as I am to proceed in my life, It’d be dishonest of me to say there wasn’t a plethora of reasons why I should stay.
San Francisco is the most major American city I’ve lived in so far in my lifetime. There is something in that city for everyone. There’s no doubting the scarcity of whatever that thing is, however, with the right edge of exploration, you’re a few persons away from meeting a circle that fits you.
My favorite part of the city is the people. In my opinion, it’s what makes the city so great. The culmination of cultures in San Francisco is amazing. I’ve never known one central area to be so diverse, co-existing with one another, and contributing to a shared society. It’s the major reason I would come back to work and visit.
With that being said, a roamer like me must keep searching.
